As the disc rotates, the slots refresh the pad contact surface and help clear debris from the friction area.

The design is intended for a sportier road brake setup and more demanding driving than a plain replacement disc. Wide slots can create some audible wind noise, so a quieter USR design may be preferable for drivers sensitive to rotor noise.

Replace discs in axle pairs and bed them in with compatible pads. Inspect the calipers, carriers and hub faces during installation, then follow EBC’s bedding procedure.

Image is representative of this EBC product range; the supplied part may differ in shape or appearance.

Product details

Part number: GD2069R

Product: EBC Slotted 2pc-Riveted Lightweight Brake Rotors (BMW M-Sport slot profile)

Position: Front

Pad A dimensions: x x mm

Pad B dimensions: x x mm

Disc diameter: 370

Disc height: 73

New thickness: 30

Minimum thickness: 28

Packaged weight: 24.0

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/8920/6526/files/Gen3_GD_Disc_Generic_Vented_1500x1500px_da080673-5db3-4008-94c9-bc1ac93e5ee5.jpg?v=1792553383
https://tjautoparts.com.au/products/ebc-gd2069r-slotted-2pc-riveted-lightweight-brake-rotors-bmw-m-sport-slot-profile
