Description

GFB Adjustable Short Shifter Kit - Subaru WRX STI (GDB) / (GRB/GVB) / (VAB) - 6-Speed

Application: Subaru WRX STI (GDB) / (GRB/GVB) / (VAB)
Part Type: Adjustable Short Shifter Kit - 6-Speed

GFB built this shifter kit specifically for Subaru's 6-speed gearbox, giving WRX STI owners a genuine reduction in shift throw without hacking into the linkages or surrounding bodywork. Rather than just swapping the gearstick, GFB's clamp design lets you dial in exactly how short you want the shift feel, gate to gate.

This listing covers the Subaru WRX STI (GDB) MY02-07, (GRB/GVB), and (VAB) models fitted with the 6-speed manual gearbox, SKU 4002.

Key Features

Unique clamp design reduces shift throw beyond what a gearstick-only shifter can achieve
Adjustable via three-hole clamp selection, from the factory 40mm per gate down to 22mm per gate
No need to raise the gearbox linkage to shorten the throw
Fits and installs entirely from inside the cabin
Includes a special tool for removing and refitting the reverse lock-out cable pin
Typical installation time around 20 minutes
