These Terms apply to all users of the website, including customers, browsers, trade customers, account holders, vendors, merchants, contributors of content, and any other person who accesses or uses our website or services.

These Terms apply together with any other policies referenced on our website, including our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and any product specific terms shown at the time of purchase.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access our website, use our services, place an order, or arrange a customer pickup.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell products and services to customers.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted means you accept those changes.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your state, territory, or country of residence.

Customers may create an account with TJ Auto Parts to access certain features, manage orders, save details, or use services available through our website.

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including orders placed, addresses entered, payment details used, vehicle details submitted, and any information provided through your account.

You must notify TJ Auto Parts immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation or your login details are no longer secure.

TJ Auto Parts may suspend, close, or restrict an account if we reasonably believe it has been misused, accessed unlawfully, used fraudulently, or used in breach of these Terms.

We aim to keep website information as accurate and current as possible. However, product information may be supplied by manufacturers, distributors, data providers, catalogue providers, or third party systems.

Product information, fitment data, descriptions, specifications, dimensions, weights, images, availability, pricing, shipping costs, and delivery estimates may change without notice.

Information on our website is provided as general information only. Customers must confirm suitability before purchase where fitment, dimensions, specifications, appearance, or compatibility are critical.

TJ Auto Parts reserves the right to alter, correct, update, remove, or amend information published on the website if we consider it incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or misleading.

5. Product Images and Product Descriptions

Product images are for illustration purposes only unless stated otherwise.

Images may be generic, may show a different angle or packaging, or may represent a product range rather than the exact item supplied.

Packaging, branding, colour, label design, country of manufacture, superseded part numbers, included accessories, and minor product appearance may vary due to manufacturer, supplier, or distributor updates.

A variation in packaging, label design, colour, branding, or minor appearance does not automatically mean the product is incorrect, faulty, counterfeit, or not genuine.

Where exact product appearance, packaging, date code, country of manufacture, or specification is important, the customer must contact TJ Auto Parts before purchase for confirmation.

6. Product Fitment and Vehicle Compatibility

Automotive parts can vary depending on make, model, year, build date, engine, body type, trim level, transmission, production changes, market region, and vehicle modifications.

Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is suitable for their vehicle before placing an order.

TJ Auto Parts provides a Parts Finder service to assist with fitment confirmation. To assist with fitment, customers may be asked to provide details such as registration number, state, VIN, make, model, year, engine, trim, build date, or other vehicle information.

Fitment is only guaranteed where:

• Accurate vehicle details are provided by the customer before purchase
• TJ Auto Parts confirms the part as suitable in writing
• The vehicle has not been modified in a way that affects fitment
• The supplied vehicle information is complete and correct

Where a customer orders without requesting fitment confirmation, provides incorrect or incomplete vehicle details, selects the wrong item, or purchases a part based on their own research, any return will be treated in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy.

7. Modified Vehicles

Customers are responsible for confirming suitability where a vehicle has been modified from factory specification.

This includes, but is not limited to, engine swaps, brake upgrades, suspension modifications, aftermarket wheels, performance modifications, body conversions, imported models, grey imports, custom wiring, tuning changes, deleted components, or non factory parts.

TJ Auto Parts is not responsible for fitment issues caused by vehicle modifications unless we have been told about the modification before purchase and confirmed compatibility in writing.

8. Product Availability

Product availability shown on our website may not always reflect live supplier or warehouse stock.

Some products may be held in our own stock, while others may be sourced from suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, or third party warehouses after an order is placed.

We reserve the right to cancel, refund, partially fulfil, substitute by agreement, or contact the customer where a product is unavailable, discontinued, delayed, incorrectly listed, or affected by supplier stock issues.

If an item is unavailable, we may offer an alternative, wait for stock, provide an estimated delay, or issue a refund.

9. Special Order Items

A special order item is any product that TJ Auto Parts does not normally keep in stock and orders from a supplier, manufacturer, distributor, or overseas source specifically to fulfil a customer order.

Special order items are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded for change of mind once the order has been placed with the supplier.

This includes situations where the customer no longer requires the item, sells the vehicle, changes their mind, orders the wrong part, or experiences a delay outside the control of TJ Auto Parts.

Special order items may still be eligible for a remedy if they are faulty, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise covered under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Overseas and Imported Items

Some items may be sourced from overseas or specially imported for a customer.

Overseas and imported items may be subject to longer lead times, customs delays, supplier delays, freight delays, exchange rate changes, international stock issues, and other circumstances outside the control of TJ Auto Parts.

Once an overseas or specially imported item has been ordered from the supplier, it cannot usually be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded for change of mind.

11. Pricing and Product Errors

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, product errors, description errors, image errors, shipping errors, discount errors, availability errors, or any other website errors at any time, including after an order has been placed.

If an item is listed with an incorrect price, incorrect freight charge, incorrect discount, incorrect description, incorrect availability, or another obvious error, we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

We are not required to supply products at an incorrect price where the price was displayed in error.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

12. Promotions, Discounts and Coupon Codes

Promotions, discounts, coupon codes, sale pricing, and special offers are subject to change, cancellation, or withdrawal at any time.

Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot usually be applied after an order has been placed.

Discounts cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.

Promotions may exclude certain brands, products, bulky items, batteries, liquids, special order items, clearance items, trade orders, or other items at our discretion.

13. Order Acceptance

Placing an order on our website does not automatically mean the order has been accepted.

An order is accepted when we process, pack, dispatch, make available for pickup, or otherwise confirm acceptance of the order.

We may cancel or refuse an order before acceptance for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Product unavailable
• Pricing error
• Freight error
• Payment issue
• Suspected fraud
• Incorrect product listing
• Supplier cancellation
• Delivery restriction
• Dangerous goods restriction
• Incorrect customer information
• Verification not provided
• Abusive, threatening, or unreasonable conduct

If we cancel an order, we will issue a refund for any amount paid for the cancelled item or order.

14. Customer Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information when placing an order.

This includes name, email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address, vehicle details, business details, and any other information required to fulfil the order.

TJ Auto Parts is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, incorrect supply, failed pickup, or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated customer information.

Additional charges may apply for address correction, redelivery, return to sender, refused delivery, or redispatch.

15. Payment

Orders must be paid in full before dispatch or pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may use third party payment providers to process transactions. Payment processing is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment provider.

We reserve the right to cancel or hold orders where payment is declined, reversed, disputed, flagged as suspicious, or subject to chargeback.

If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the matter with TJ Auto Parts, we reserve the right to provide all relevant order, delivery, communication, tracking, pickup, verification, and policy information to the payment provider.

16. Identification Checks

TJ Auto Parts reserves the right to request identification, proof of payment, proof of address, or other verification before processing, dispatching, releasing, or handing over an order.

This may include, but is not limited to, Australian driver licence, passport, business registration details, payment verification, order confirmation, or other information reasonably required to confirm the order is genuine.

We may hold, cancel, or refund an order if verification is not provided, if the information provided does not match the order details, or if we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised payment use, identity misuse, or suspicious ordering activity.

Identification checks may be required for online orders, trade orders, high value orders, first time orders, suspicious orders, customer pickups, third party pickups, or any other order where TJ Auto Parts considers verification necessary.

17. Customer Pickups

Customer pickup is available by arrangement only, where offered by TJ Auto Parts.

Orders must be confirmed as ready for pickup before the customer attends the pickup location.

Customers must not attend for pickup until they have received confirmation that the order is ready.

Valid photo identification is required for customer pickups.

TJ Auto Parts may request identification, order confirmation, proof of payment, or other verification before releasing goods.

The name on the identification may need to match the order details, payment details, or authorised pickup person.

If someone else is collecting an order on behalf of the customer, TJ Auto Parts may require written authorisation from the customer and valid photo identification from the person collecting.

TJ Auto Parts may refuse to release an order if identification is not provided, the pickup person is not authorised, the details do not match, or we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised collection.

Once goods are collected and handed over, the customer or authorised pickup person is responsible for checking the order and safely transporting the goods.

18. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.

Shipping times may be affected by supplier delays, courier delays, public holidays, weather, incorrect address details, dangerous goods restrictions, bulky freight handling, regional or remote delivery locations, courier network issues, or events outside our control.

A delivery delay does not automatically entitle a customer to cancel an order or receive a refund once the order has been dispatched, unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Additional freight charges may apply for redelivery, address correction, refused delivery, return to sender, or redispatch.

19. Authority to Leave

Where Authority to Leave is selected, requested, provided to the courier, available through the courier, or otherwise authorised by the customer, the courier may leave the parcel at the delivery address without obtaining a signature.

The customer agrees that delivery is completed once the parcel is left at the nominated address in accordance with the Authority to Leave instructions or once the courier marks the parcel as delivered.

TJ Auto Parts is not responsible for theft, loss, weather damage, damage, missing parcels, or any other issue that occurs after a parcel has been delivered or left under Authority to Leave.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is safe and suitable for unattended parcels.

If Authority to Leave is not provided, the customer must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.

Additional charges may apply for missed delivery, redelivery, depot collection, return to sender, or redispatch.

20. Bulky Items, Batteries, Liquids and Dangerous Goods

Some items may be classified as bulky, heavy, fragile, liquid, dangerous goods, or restricted goods.

These items may be subject to additional freight charges, courier restrictions, delivery area restrictions, longer handling times, or cancellation where delivery is not available.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Batteries
• Brake discs
• Oils
• Fluids
• Lubricants
• Additives
• Large or heavy parts
• Fragile items
• Oversized items

We reserve the right to contact the customer for additional freight charges, change the shipping method, restrict delivery areas, or cancel and refund an order where the selected shipping method is unsuitable or unavailable.

21. Battery Delivery Restrictions

Batteries may be subject to dangerous goods, courier, transport, storage, and delivery restrictions.

Battery delivery may be limited to selected metro areas, including Sydney metro, depending on the product, courier, delivery address, and transport requirements.

If a battery order is placed for a location where delivery is unavailable, restricted, unsafe, uneconomical, or not supported by our courier network, TJ Auto Parts may cancel and refund the order.

Customers must not use PO Boxes, parcel lockers, or unsuitable delivery addresses for battery orders.

22. Original Shipping and Order Related Costs

Original shipping costs, express shipping costs, insurance charges, packaging charges, payment fees, courier fees, handling charges, and any other order related costs are non refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

Where shipping or delivery has already been completed, the shipping service is considered fulfilled.

Shipping and order related costs will not be refunded for change of mind returns, incorrectly ordered items, exchanges, refused deliveries, return to sender parcels, failed delivery due to customer error, or any return where TJ Auto Parts is not at fault.

23. Order Cancellations

Customers should contact TJ Auto Parts as soon as possible if they wish to cancel an order.

Cancellation requests are not guaranteed.

Orders cannot usually be cancelled once they have been packed, dispatched, made available for pickup, ordered from a supplier, specially imported, processed as a special order, or otherwise progressed beyond the point where cancellation is possible.

If an order is cancelled before dispatch and before supplier costs are incurred, a refund may be issued.

If supplier charges, payment fees, handling costs, freight costs, or other costs have already been incurred, these may be deducted from any refund where permitted by law.

24. Returns, Refunds and Warranty

Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged items, incorrect items, warranty claims, and change of mind returns are governed by our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy.

Customers must read and agree to our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy before placing an order.

All returns must be approved by TJ Auto Parts before goods are sent back.

Goods sent back without approval may be refused, returned to sender, or held until applicable costs are paid.

Nothing in these Terms or our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

25. Warranty Assessment

Products supplied by TJ Auto Parts are covered by Australian Consumer Law and any applicable manufacturer warranty.

Manufacturer warranties apply in addition to the rights and guarantees provided under Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty claims may require inspection, testing, diagnosis, or assessment by TJ Auto Parts, the manufacturer, distributor, supplier, or authorised warranty agent before an outcome can be determined.

Customers must provide all information reasonably required to assess a warranty claim, including proof of purchase, vehicle details, installation details, photos, videos, fault description, diagnostic reports, and any other supporting information requested.

Products must be returned to TJ Auto Parts or the nominated assessment location before a warranty outcome can be finalised.

26. Installation and Use of Products

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are installed correctly and used for their intended purpose.

Automotive parts should be installed by a suitably qualified person where appropriate.

TJ Auto Parts is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect installation, incorrect diagnosis, incorrect part selection, misuse, modification, vehicle fault, poor maintenance, contamination, incorrect fluids, incorrect voltage, poor wiring, poor earthing, or use outside manufacturer specifications.

Customers must not continue using a product after a fault becomes known, as continued use may cause further damage and may affect any warranty assessment.

27. Labour, Diagnostic and Consequential Costs

Unless required by Australian Consumer Law or approved by TJ Auto Parts in writing before the cost is incurred, TJ Auto Parts is not responsible for third party labour, diagnosis, installation, removal, towing, storage, hire car, downtime, lost income, lost profits, vehicle recovery, workshop fees, consequential loss, or related costs.

Customers must obtain written approval from TJ Auto Parts before incurring any third party costs if they intend to seek reimbursement.

28. Trade Customers and Business Purchases

Trade customers, workshops, resellers, dealers, and business customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their intended use and application.

Trade pricing, account terms, special pricing, bulk pricing, and business arrangements may be subject to additional terms agreed in writing.

Unless agreed in writing, trade customers are responsible for their own customer enquiries, diagnosis, labour, installation, removal, and end customer claims.

Nothing in this section excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

29. Third Party Tools and Links

Our website may include access to third party tools, apps, payment providers, freight platforms, review platforms, fitment systems, finance providers, or external links.

We do not control third party websites, tools, platforms, or services and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, security, policies, or performance.

Use of third party tools and links is at the customer’s own risk and may be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant third party provider.

30. Customer Content, Reviews and Submissions

If you submit reviews, photos, videos, feedback, comments, suggestions, ideas, or other content to TJ Auto Parts, you grant us permission to use, reproduce, publish, display, edit, and share that content for business, customer service, operational, and marketing purposes.

You agree that any content you submit must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

You must not submit content that is false, defamatory, abusive, threatening, offensive, obscene, discriminatory, misleading, fraudulent, or that infringes the rights of another person or business.

TJ Auto Parts may monitor, edit, refuse, remove, or respond to content at its discretion.
