This optional dry carbon fibre lid is approximately 68% lighter than the powder coated aluminium lid supplied as standard on Radium RA-Series fuel cells, making it a worthwhile upgrade for weight-conscious builds.

It is made from pre-impregnated 3K, 2x2 twill dry carbon and reuses the original hardware supplied with the fuel cell. Check with your racing organisation that carbon fibre is permitted for the fuel cell enclosure before fitting.

Radium Fuel Cell 24 Bolt Flange Gasket (18-0015) - a new gasket may be needed when swapping the lid

Important Notes

Does not fit fuel cells made by other manufacturers
When purchased with a fuel cell, the lid ships in a separate box and is installed by the end user; the standard aluminium lid cannot be exchanged
If a drop-in fuel pump assembly such as the FCST-X is fitted, follow that assembly's instructions for removal and reinstallation
Tools: 5/32" (4mm) Allen key for the stainless button head bolts, 7/16" spanner for the flange nuts under the perimeter bolts, micro Phillips screwdriver for the inspection plate screws
Torque the perimeter bolts to 6.8 Nm (60 in-lb) on reinstallation - do not overtighten any bolts, as this can crack the carbon fibre resin
Check that carbon fibre is permitted by your racing organisation

Shipping Rates
We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $150 (excluding bulky items). For orders under $150. Standard shipping starts at $9.95. Express shipping starts at $14.95. Shipping costs can be calculated in the cart or at checkout. Orders containing bulky items such as batteries, brake discs, liquids, and lift kits may incur additional shipping charges, particularly to remote or regional areas.

Dispatch & Handling
We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days. In the event of any delays, our customer service team will notify you. Tracking numbers are sent via email once your order has been dispatched and can also be accessed from your account.

Returns and Refunds
If you change your mind or need to cancel an order, simply contact us at contact@tjautoparts.com.au within 30 days of delivery. Items should be unused and in their original packaging. A small restocking/admin fee of 5–20% may apply to help cover processing costs. This fee is only applicable at the discretion of our staff and may not apply to all orders. Return shipping is covered by you unless we sent the wrong or faulty item, in which case we’ll take care of it. Once we receive your return, refunds are processed quickly, usually within 48 hours, with up to 5 business days for your bank to complete the transfer.
